HOW TO GET A CLOSE SHAVE
Our most popular men’s shaving products, White Eagle" Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream is made with cooling Menthol and Camphor for a refreshingly close shave. Our brushless formula provides a creamy lather cushion to help prevent razor bumps and maximize shaving comfort.
SHAVING WITH SENSITIVE SKIN
Is your skin prone to razor burn, bumps or irritation after shaving? If so, you likely have sensitive skin, and we have the right shave balm for you. Our "Blue Eagle" Ultimate Brushless Shaving Cream is infused with soothing Aloe to comfort sensitive skin and prevent razor bumps and ingrown hairs for a magnificently smooth finish.
HOW TO USE KIEHL’S SHAVING CREAMS
With all Kiehl’s shaving creams, apply on moist – not wet – skin. We recommend for your shaving routine to fall after a warm bath or shower.
Our shaving creams are rich – a little goes a long way. When you’re ready, be sure to apply a nearly translucent layer. You should be able to almost see through the cream to your five o’clock shadow or facial hair.
And remember, always apply shaving products in upward, circular motions. This ensures that your hair follicles are coated all the way down to the skin.
As you shave, save the tough stubby patches for last. This allows the ingredients ample time to soften facial hair and soothe skin.
If you notice your razor is clogging – you’re using too much.

YOUR CLASSIC SHAVING ROUTINE
1. PREPARE YOUR SKIN
Start your shaving routine by cleansing skin with a facial wash or energizing scrub to clear away excess dirt and oil and soften facial hair.
2. APPLY YOUR FAVORITE SHAVE CREAM
Using upward circular motions, apply a shave lotion or cream based on your style or skin type. Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream is a men’s favorite that softens facial hair and helps defend your skin against nicks, cuts and razor bumps.
3. GO WITH THE GRAIN
For a proper shave, use light, gentle strokes. Your razor should do the work, not you. Start shaving with the grain (in the direction of hair growth). Then if you have any stubble left, go against the grain for an even closer shave.
4. RINSE RAZOR BLADE FREQUENTLY
This prevents buildup on the razor blade edges or cartridge and will result in a smoother glide with more comfort.
5. PREVENT RAZOR BURN
To avoid post-shaving irritation like ingrown hairs and razor burn, rinse skin with cool water and pat it try. Then use a skin soothing after shave formula, such as Post-Shave Repair Gel, to nourish and protect skin.

- We recommend shaving after a bath or shower, you can also use one of Kiehl’s facial scrubs just prior to your shave
- If you like, prepare your skin by patting it with warm, damp towel
- Smooth on a thin layer of this unscented shaving cream
- Shave your face, saving tough stubble for last
- Finish your shaving routine with after shave, a toner and skin moisturizer
